DESCRIPTION:
The City of Long Beach, Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting for two unclassified, part-time, temporary* Microbiologist II positions in its Physician Services Bureau, Laboratory Services Division. Reporting to a Microbiologist III, these positions will provide critical microbiological testing support during the City’s public health emergency response to COVID-19. These positions are based out of the Main Health Department Building, 2525 Grand Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90815.
*These positions are temporary in nature to support the City’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency and are limited to six-month appointments unless extended by the City of Long Beach, Civil Service Commission
