Under the supervision of the California State Public Health Laboratory Director at the California Department of Public health (CDPH), the Laboratory Manager assists in the overall operation and administration of the clinical / public health laboratory and its affiliated temporary sites and oversees the Customer Service Program. The qualifications of a laboratory manager include an extensive clinical or public health laboratory management background (5-10 years) with active California licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or California certification as a Public Health Microbiologist. This position will work closely with the CDPH COVID-19 Testing Task Force.
